Yoga has worked for over 5000 years! The aim is a calm mind, body and spirit. The stretching and body strengthening is part of that aim - to calm the mind, body, soul, to bring awareness to everything we do so we can uplift ourselves!
Yoga improves health by increasing awareness and improving the spinal environment - the nerves, the muscles. Yoga reduces stress by decreasing activity of the body’s glands and lowering the nervous system’s activity. Yoga increases circulation and massages our organs. Yoga strengthens our muscles and bones and increases our body’s blood purification. Yoga improves brain function by balancing the right and left sides of the brain.
